Hi, I'm Rebekah!

I'm a mom of three who has always enjoyed being creative and making things for the people I love. After spending several years focused on raising my children, I decided it was time to pursue something for myself and turn my love of baking into a career. I'm currently studying Baking and Pastry Arts at Wake Technical Community College, where I've had the opportunity to explore everything from breads and pastries to cake decorating, and confectionery. I especially enjoy the creative side of pastry and the challenge of turning an idea into something I can actually create.

When I'm not in the kitchen or working on a class project, I enjoy spending time with my family and making memories with my kids. They are a big part of what motivates me to keep learning, growing, and building a future I can be proud of. This portfolio is a collection of the work I've created throughout my time at Wake Tech and a look at my growth as a baker and pastry student.
